What does Syat do?
Syat works in the arena of Organisation development consultancy. Quite simply, using as wide range of tools and techniques, we focus on helping people to improve their business performance with the overall goal of delivering sustainable improvements in business results.
Our main services can be defined as either consultancy or training. Let’s start off by talking about consultancy. The focus of our work here is Change or Transformation ie how do you manage change as smoothly as possible?; Performance Excellence or improvement ie how do you focus on continuously enhancing and improving performance?; and finally Learning ie how do you create a culture where the focus is on learning and development in order to survive and prosper?
Who do we work with? Surely there can be nothing more rewarding than working with people whether it be at the Executive or Leadership level of the organisation or at the managerial level or indeed individual level – our only requirement is that our clients want to learn and grow!
So upon what sort of things do we consult with people? Well with people at the most senior levels, the greatest challenges seem to be around the execution of vision and strategy or in other words bringing people on board with ambitions and expectations, designing an organisation structure and appropriate communication processes that will support the understanding and engagement of people. So lots of work here about standards, communication, change management, alignment of the internal culture with the external brand values. Really exciting and challenging work!
At the managerial level, we do lots of work on team building and development, communication, process design – it’s all about improving and building upon the potential of what is already there. Then at the individual level – we do a small series of training programmes, all of which can be customised to the needs of your company plus lots of coaching and development so that people fulfil their career ambitions and are proactive in making things happen for themselves.
Syat’s by-line is Optimising Potential… Realising Opportunity… People are the key to an organisation’s success – whether the organisation is public or private sector; government or not for profit. Syat firmly believes that people make the difference!
